Looking forward to: the next days-off!
I didn’t go to the Army Gym anymore since Kuya Rurik went home for vacay, so I missed one week worth of the dressdown pass; I’d dress up to work, it’s useless going on dressdown if it’d cost me more, and I’d never get the two-week bonus dressdown privilege anyway.
Oh well, since I don’t have my paraphernalia with me, I’m blogging in a snap. I’ll do the backdates soon.
I’ve long wanted to say this: due to flash floods affecting the lower parts of Shaw Boulevard when typhoons strike, particularly by the Maligaya Bridge and the Acacia Lane area, they’re doing a major rehabilitation of the bridge, and no sooner, a serious expansion of the main thoroughfare.
This will take a while.
Anyway, the new Fabella Street was opened to all Eastbound vehicles, so we got used to the traffic.

I might’ve broken my “vow” last time there’d be no more monkey business, because I managed to publish my Hoorays since March. Oh well … it’s better than tobacco. I’ll just drink some alcohol on cold weather.
Finally I got some Post-its! :3 So we’re back to the Logs mode, but I may be too busy or too tired working on the logs, unless I have other online agenda.
This month forward is going to be busier and more serious, so I’m just dropping by peering through the Telescope, tweeting some shoutouts and some comments. Pictures? Oh well … when our homie Viceroy mans the Voltron Warehouse again, posting some Playboy-esque stuff. He’d dropped by some time and posted the OzineFest pics.

Uploads of the day: the few pics from yesterday’s fam get-together, which I saved in my phone memory. The X3-02 carried the defective 2GB mem card.
So the little lunch pushed through yesterday. I got out on time (yay), so I waited for the shuttle to the Philippine Army Gym for fifteen minutes. Nada. I decided to head home.
Yet I got hungry, so I had a McD’s ten-peso sundae cone.
For the day’s eye candy, I just passed by Bibliarch to check on the Black Butler manga on display. So far the latest we have is Volume IX, with Lau Tao on the cover.
I ran home, then Nanay, Jef & I came together to Ate Aida’s for the bash. We had lechon baboy and manok and some ice cream.
Everytime we go to Ate Aida’s, of course Ate Rhea is there, so the oldies would have their hair cut. Except me.
The best time started when I got bored and checked my Bull Farm and Telescope through the X3-02. Everyone thought I’m on Globe Postpaid. ;p Someone gave Ate Aida their old iPhone 3GS, and she wanted me to teach her how to go to Facebook.
A Facebook app for iPhone would make her life a whole lot easier, so I wanted to install the app, but Kuya Jun’s iPhone password couldn’t go through. (We even tried recharging the phone, adding credits through Share-a-load for the data, and resetting the password through iForgot.
So we had no choice but to take the long method─going to m.facebook.com via Safari.

First snag, which also happened to be the first day of the OzineFest, and why I didn’t make it there, was the Black Butler manga, Volume IV, from Fully Booked Greenbelt 5. That carried our favorite cover image of Sebastian Michaelis.
The English translation was published by Yen Press, a division of Hachette Book Group based in New York, who published today’s copies of Mythology by Edith Hamilton. Thus with these connections, these volumes will be easier to find in Fully Booked or its associates, compared to anything from VIZ Media.

Speaking of Yana Toboso, we just browsed her blog, and found some new pics (some old but kind of new ), we may be posting some of them in the “closed” Kuroshitsuji group where the admin Sebastian from the Kuro II page invited Cielo. Anyway, the group is not as idle as our very own Yamaguchirow. Ouch.
I’m loving: “red thread.” That was nicely made. As hanakkorunrun makes pics with the comic GenkôBackers feel in color, papillon_chica is all clean visual emo with JûKazu, and the Fûga lot.

We just peered through the Telescope the remaining minutes of our shift lunch: papillon_chica had been thinking of renaming “red thread” Another “The End” & Reset. I’s wondering why. Maybe I can get what s/he means, if the setting was way past Volume 39. :)
I’m on: Volume 37. Finally I’m back─if not almost back─to the pages I last read, prior to the Volume 35 and 36 reviews, and the Volume 39 previews. Ban and Ginji free Kanô Jôya and Ujîe Kaoru.
My bad my desktop and mobile bookmarks got all messed up. It’s convenient (though costly) to read the manga mobile, but I can’t bookmark the pages on Cielo’s wall unless I go on desktop mode.
Anyway, since I’m back to where I left, maybe I can bookmark on the Bull Farm again. :3

S/he based the title on an excerpt from Volume 39, which I have to reread. If I’m not mistaken, the lines were from the Archive, directed to Makubex.
I suggested to papillon_chica Another End & Reset sounded better, to which s/he thanked me for “being kind to me,” but I lately told him/her s/he can keep the title if s/he intended it to feel like a video game. S/he agreed. If you ask me, though s/he might sound defiant at first, s/he took my reply as a compliment.
I lately suggested Another “Game Over” & Reset, but she found it too overused. Thus s/he gladly took my first advice … and changed the captions in his/her Pixiv, as well as in the illustrations page, to Another End & Reset. ♥ ─4/30/2012

I bought another one because I lost the intricate pendant last time. Plus, it’s a snag at Php500.
Since the last piece was the piece on display, it had some stubborn stains I don’t know exactly how to clean. So far I know dishwashing liquid as the gentlest cleaning material I can use for polished resin. Yet after a few days of just storing it in its black pouch, I noticed some of the stains were gone. So I guess I’ll start wiping ‘em off with a clean cotton cloth.
I bought the necklace with me so I could figure out cleaning without scratching it “big time.” The stains were still there. A dab of sanitizing gel worked a bit. Ouch. ─4/25/2012

On my second day-off (technically my first day out), by impulse I thought of heading to the suburbs. Nanay accompanied me, went out together on a Dutch treat, and got home tired. Even so, it felt good.
Sometimes it happens we’re triple-skilled because there were fixes to be done through the other comms sites. Yet I managed, almost, to get out on time yesterday. I had to buy load, manage my memory, and deposit for the suburbs. I did ‘em all yesty, with Sushi Boi Beef Mushroom for day shift lunch (sweet), and some nice sleep after a late ( ) 2 Broke Girls rerun on etc, and two glasses of water.
Lately I’ve noticed my lips tasting so bitter. I guess it’s the petroleum jelly exposed in heat or under intense sunlight. Imagine, it went up to 38 degrees C yesty! >.< I guess I gotta replace petroleum jelly with Chapstick this hot season.
I got out on time! Yay! I’m lovin’ mahself!!

I’m hungry. Gotta have some day shift lunch reward again.

Postscript. Oh well, we just heard it now while working on the backdates.
The song itself is not our type, but we could imagine the scenery of the fanfiction, maybe our most loved piece of all KazuRen thingies we can find. (Wow, KazuRen, says Viceroy … a once-rarely-used-but-now-we-finally-revived term! )
We’re sharing the vids, if you’re curious, too. First is the Hercules version, then a rare music video with Belinda Carlisle. We admit we’re loving her so ’90s version.
Now come the Cheetah Girls. Theirs is the teeny, cutesy version. Here we felt this is so Disney-worthy … but nothing beats Belinda Carlisle’s.

I don’t know why this reminds me of my first cousin, the doctor Kuya Henry. I was saying, I had to admit once to Tatay I kinda had a crush on him. It’d only turn out to be some kind of a deep mutual understanding, since Tatay’d say we had a lot in common. Of course we’re both bright─yet he’s got the UP-esque mind. I guess we just have different specialties.
That’s the certain bond GetBackers fans see between Ban and Ginji, and Jûbei and Kazuki, which is deeper than a best-friend relationship, and always played upon as yaoi romance.

So my current 2GB memory card, the one that came with the X3-02, is unrecognized by the PC. It’s only readable on the phone. Too bad I got pics of the suburbs, among the first ones, the Entwined Christmas party last year, the last otaku event I attended, and some random pics. Good thing I was able to create soft copies of the Christmas and New Year pics, all Guido Reni’s six Saint Sebastians, and some Fûchôin Kazuki stuff downloaded from the mobile Web.
OMG, gotta manage; I gotta man two days of the OzineFest 2012. I filed a VL on the 16th for that.
Two days to go! ♥ I’m not ready to dress up yet, but I’m almost there.
I wanna save my precious leave credits; I can feel I’ll need them one day.
